Delaware Valley Residential Care is currently seeking experienced Resident Care Assistants to assist our Program Participants with all aspects of daily living.


  •  Key person responsible for ensuring the dignified and timely transport of our residents to and from their respective destinations. This includes assisting with their direct care when necessary before, during, and after transporting event.
  • Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of all vehicles within Delaware Valley Residential Care's fleet.
  • Perform daily vehicle checks and ensure all vehicles are well maintained and in excellent working condition.
  • Ensures that all vehicles are properly gassed up.
  • Assist management team with picking up and dropping off vehicles for inspection and other maintenance needs.
  • Report all vehicle mechanical needs, repair and maintenance.
  • Ability to maximize time efficiently between projects.
  • Restock emergency supplies when needed. Assist with special events as directed.
  • Representing Delaware Valley Residential Care with excellence and providing the highest level of customer service to our residents.
  • When there are no driving responsibilities for the shift, transport assistants will report to Staffing Manager for additional related job duties, including but not limited to direct care of residents, nonmechanical upkeep of the vehicles, and any clerical work needed for the RCA department.
    • When supporting the Resident Care Department, some job tasks may include:
  • Providing assistance with bathing, grooming, showering, dressing, incontinence, oral hygiene, and other ADL's and IADL's Provides assistance with serving meals and assisting residents with eating when applicable
  • Providing assistance with transfers, ambulating, and transportation
  • Assisting the Cognitive Therapy Department on Structured Day Trips and Activities/Groups when assigned
  • Assisting residents with cleaning rooms, changing linens, and laundry
  • Turning and re-positioning residents with mobility needs (when applicable)
  • Providing 1:1 Assistance to residents when assigned
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor


  • Must maintain a valid and active Driver's License
  • Must not obtain points on license while holding this position.
  • Neat and professional personal appearance.
  • Excellent customer service skills. Present a professional and respectful attitude towards the team members and guests.
  • Open and flexible schedule. Ability to work a varied schedule with day and evening shifts and weekends.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and perform job functions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time and lift to 50lbs.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Excellent attention to detail and willingness to take initiative.
  • Ability to perform a variety of vehicle cleaning tasks such as but not limited to washing, detailing, and fueling of cars.
